Bractel Privacy Policy

Bractel is made by Cheshire Marketplace LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what the Bractel apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect, and why
We collect only what the apps need to work for you. Nothing is used for advertising or tracking, and nothing is sold.
- Your email address, to sign you in. We email you a one-time code; we do not use passwords.
- What you choose to send in: photos, scanned documents, files, notes, links and the words you type, when you capture something or share it into Bractel. They are stored in your own workspace so you and the people you work with can use them.
- Your location, only when you ask for it: when you press a button that records where something was done (for example, completing a job on site), the app reads your location once and sends it with that action. It never tracks you in the background and does not keep your location on the device.
- On the Mac only: if you turn on printing, the Mac’s name and the printers it can see, so print jobs can reach it.
What we don’t collect
No advertising identifiers, no analytics or usage tracking, no crash-reporting services, no contacts, health, financial or browsing data. The apps contain no third-party tracking or advertising code.
Where your information goes
Everything the apps send goes to your organization’s Bractel workspace over an encrypted connection. Each organization’s workspace is kept separate from every other’s. We do not share your information with third parties except where required by law.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from inside the app: Settings › Delete my account. Your account is closed immediately and its personal data is erased after 30 days. Records that belong to an organization you work with stay with that organization. You can also ask us to delete your account by emailing admin@bractel.com.
Children
Bractel is a work and household tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date.
